Destination: Longworth Lookout

The Caledonia Ramblers will be leading a Moderate/Strenuous (D5d) hike up to Longworth Lookout, 85 km east of Prince George on the north side of the Fraser River. Participants need to be fairly confident and physically able to do this hike as it is a 14 km round trip. Participants should consider bringing  hiking boots, a day backpack, sufficient water or perhaps something hot to drink, adequate food or snacks, extra warm clothing and gaiters. Hiking poles and bear spray may also prove useful. Please meet 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time of 7:15 a.m. at the Highway 16 east PetroCan parking lot.
