It was an awesome Sunday hike to the Eye of the Trench Lake via the Hungary Wetlands! Picture a day so blue and bright, it felt like we were walking through a winter wonderland. The snow was firm enough that we were able to walk in to the lake without snowshoes! But as the temperature climbed to a cozy nine Celsius, the snow softened up, turning our hike back into an exciting romp—perfect for those trusty snowshoes. Ten intrepid explorers joined in on this inaugural club trip to this hidden, off-trail gem. Looking at all these photos, who needs a Caribbean beach when we've got this on our doorstep? A big thanks to Mike for leading the way and making it such a fantastic day!
